2. Fazer: Creates a haze, slightly thicker than a hazer.

This machine is a hybrid between a fog machine and a hazer. It uses a heater and a pump (like a fog machine) but does not need an air compressor (like a hazer). It uses a fan to disperse fog creating a haze effect. The machine does not use oil-based hazer liquid. It only needs to use regular fog liquid (FLG); it cannot use hazer liquid. It does not have an air compressor so it is quieter than most air compressors.

3. Fog Machine: Creates dense fog

It uses a heater and a pump, but no air compressor. It creates thick, white fog that rapidly fills an area. It dissipates gradually, about 30 minutes in a room with regular ventilation. It uses fog liquid. High quality fog liquid uses glycol (PG, TG or DPG food graded glycol) and distilled water. Some liquids also add food-grade glycerin. These formulas are safe and have been tested. Fog machines cannot use hazer liquid.

III. Difference in X, Z-Series II, and M-Series Stage Foggers

Features for different units include on-board DMX, mirror-piping technology, LCD full function remotes and attractive designs. The Z-II Series is designed for a wide cross-section of end users.

The square, durable housing designs give them a refined look and add ease to transport from road to road as flightcases come standard with M-Series Stage foggers. The M-Series Stage Foggers will stand the rigors of professional use as well as the unexpected, with a design that affords protection against stray water or spilled drinks. They have built-in DMX interface and can be controlled remotely with a digital display control module enable users to operate the machines at ease. DMX connection can be worked by either a 3 or 5 pin connector.

There are two professional choices M-5 (1500W) and M-10 (3000W) which are perfect for concerts, movie production, and road touring to facilitate easy installation and transportation in any type of big venue.
